Land Use

Our freedom to access and enjoy the outdoors is under attack. So called "green" groups are spending millions upon millions of dollars on lobbyists and lawsuits to restrict our access to our public lands. These folks are not environmentalists. They work from an office building in San Francisco or New York and rarely visit the outdoors.
Access to your favorite camping spot, fishing hole, hunting area, and access to your favorite riding trails are all at risk; already lost in many areas. It doesn't matter where you are, I'm sure you have seen some form of overbearing and overreaching land restrictions in your area. This needs to stop!
DDC Racing is committed to doing anything we can to counter this terrible and destructive land closing agenda. Each quarter we will donate $5.00 from every online rear sprocket purchase to a worthy group or organization engaged in fighting these closures.

We are pleased to announce that we will be supporting The Stewards Of The Sequoia for quarter 1, 2017.

SOS Logo

Stewards of the Sequoia (SOS) have been fighting hard and winning to stop trail closures. Since 2004 they continue to be the largest on the ground volunteer organization in the Sequoia National Forest. Stewards work with agencies proactively to ensure trails remain open and even build new trails. More recently Stewards of the Sequoia initiated litigation to Stop the PCT Land Grab from eliminating motorized single track trails. SOS has put together a great video on the subject which you can view by clicking here.

Stewards of the Sequoia is funded by donations from riders who want to do something meaningful to stop trail closures. You can make a tax deductible donation by clicking here.

For our second land use advocacy group to support we have selected:

The Trails Preservation Alliance
Trails Preservation Alliance Logo
The Trails Preservation Alliance (TPA) is dedicated to preserving and protecting OHV use on public lands in Colorado and surrounding areas. The TPA’s primary goal is focused on preserving motorized single-track trail riding. The TPA is a 100 percent volunteer organization whose intention is to be a viable partner, working with the United States Forest Service (USFS) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to preserve the sport of trail riding.
The TPA will act as an advocate of the sport and take the necessary action to insure that the USFS and BLM allocate to trail riding a fair and equitable percentage of access to public lands.
DDC Racing will donate $5.00 from each rear sprocket sold on our website between October 1st, 2016 and December 31st, 2016.
The TPA has been doing great work to keep Colorado single track alive and well, if you would like to help the cause on your own please DONATE HERE.
Our donation to the TPA is on the way!

The first organization we have selected to support is a national land advocacy organization: The Blue Ribbon Coalition. If you are not familiar with BRC, you should be. Please visit their website as they have great national and local land use information and alerts.
